SEASONAL PRODUCER | FIVE SEASONS
TWO EMMY-WINNING BROADCASTS

Since 2021, I’ve had the pleasure of working behind the scenes on KTLA 5’s Tournament of Roses Parade coverage as a segment producer, field producer, and preditor (producer/editor), helping bring one of America’s most celebrated New Year’s traditions to audiences worldwide.

From coordinating live broadcasts along the parade route to producing and editing fast-turnaround television segments, my work combines editorial storytelling, field production, and the grace and precision required for live television.

Featured below are a behind-the-scenes photo collection and two broadcast segments I produced and edited, including scratch-track narrations.

My Role: I coordinated all aspects of the shoot and conducted the one-on-one interview.

Post Production: arc included writing the package, selecting the music, video editing and scratch-track narration.

Wild Kingdom with Peter Gros

ROSE PARADE: BEHIND THE BROADCAST

Five seasons. Two Emmys (2024 & 2025). Countless moving parts. One spectacular New Year’s tradition.

Behind every live broadcast is a team of producers, journalists, camera crews, technicians, and countless others working together to make the magic happen.

These photographs offer a glimpse into my experiences behind the scenes at KTLA’s Tournament of Roses Parade coverage—from early-morning production calls and on-location interviews to the camaraderie, unexpected moments, and teamwork that make live television so rewarding.
